EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

At Bloom we recognize the importance of loving one's work. After all, our place of employment is where we spend the majority of our waking hours. Our faculty at Bloom is like a family—and our building, like a home away from home...with a whole lot of children!

We are looking for individuals who have experience with—and abounding LOVE for—children ages 1.5-5 years old. Experience in a group care setting is especially helpful (though not necessarily required).

We do provide training (20 hours per year is required). We welcome college students, especially those studying Early Childhood Education or a related field. We are inspired by LifeWays, and so candidates must feel that this approach resonates with them as a childcare philosophy. Please take a moment to read up on it here if you are unfamiliar.

Candidates should enjoy time outside in all weather (all weather is good weather if you're dressed for it!). A love of nature, environmental stewardship, gardening, baking, knitting/sewing/felting and singing are all pluses!

Full-time faculty enjoy three weeks of paid vacation per year, plus National holidays, ten paid sick/personal days, health insurance, disability insurance, paid professional development opportunities, and after one year, a 401k with employer match.

If you are interested in applying, please contact Bethany via email (please attach resume) at bethany@bloomchild.com.
